Dr Snyder's Drugless Health Sanatorium, which included the structure that is now Inn on the River, was part of a unique complex known as Dr Snyder's Drugless Health Sanatorium at the turn of the century. Snyder, who advertised himself as a "magnetic healer," was well aware that people enjoy being pampered. He fed them well, gave them hot baths and cozy chambers, and generally treated them with the type of personal attention that made them want to come back again and again. The Inn now has a prized Texas historical monument. Although much has changed throughout the years, Dr. Snyder's spirit has not. Because of our modest size, we can respond to the specific demands of your small party.
