Surrounded by the rivers and marshes of Savannah and mere minutes from downtown, you will enter through the wrought-iron gates to a meandering wooded, pebbled drive, round the bend in the path . . . and she is there...an idyllic retreat that exudes history, grandeur, and refined luxury. If at first glimpse she takes your breath away, then you will know she is the one. The Manor Home was built in 1941, and the current owners purchased the estate in 2018. HollyOaks on the Marsh remains privately owned by people, not corporations, and the owners enjoy hosting select clientele who appreciate the beauty and history of the Low Country. They seek to bring all people together in love and radiate joy. Built just over 80 years ago as a country estate for a private family, HollyOaks on the Marsh is nestled on 18-acres with exquisite views, expansive lawns, lush heirloom gardens, and an ambience that radiates relaxed Southern hospitality. Whether you are planning a wedding weekend or an exclusive corporate event, your experience will invite unforgettable memories. - Does the venue have any décor restrictions?
- Your event is as custom and unique as you wish. Our refined Low Country aesthetic that speaks of history, grandeur, and relaxed luxury. HollyOaks is owned and operated by a seasoned professional, who works closely with your Planner to understand your vision and properly execute your event.
- What is included in the venue rental cost?
- The 18-acre estate includes expansive lawns and gardens for hosting your outdoor event. There are eight garden settings depending on the size and overall vision. The Manor Home is included for the wedding party to prepare and includes a luxury Bridal Suite, Groom's Hearth Room, and Gathering Room.
- Does the venue have a curfew for events?
- The noise ordinance is 10 pm for our area, so we ask that you make your departure by that time.
- Does your venue have on-site parking available for guests?
- Most of the events provide transportation via trolley, motor coach, or charters. We do offer parking for up to 30 cars.
- Is there a venue coordinator available to help with event logistics?
- Absolutely! We require a Full Service Planner for your event, but the Venue Concierge is on-site and available as needed.
