Heard-Craig Center For The Arts

Having a long-standing presence in the community, the Heard-Craig is committed to provide educational and creative opportunities to all. If you would like to organize a tour, a group visit, find out about a community art tour, connect with a local art studio, or learn more about the Art Club of McKinney, please contact us. The Carriage House may be rented for wedding receptions, bridal showers, birthday celebrations, and other special events of many kinds. The two-story facility is equipped with a kitchen, two restrooms, and tables and seats for up to 50 people. China, crystal, flatware, punch glasses and coffee urns are all included in the rental price of the event. Tablecloths (in either white or black) can be rented for an additional fee. At the Heard-Craig Center, you may have your garden wedding. A total of 150 people can be accommodated in the Garden. Guests will be greeted by a big white Gazebo (which will be used for the ceremony) and two white wedding arches, which will allow them to make a spectacular entry. An additional Secret Garden is located behind the Gazebo and is available for surprise engagements as well as Engagement Photo Sessions. In addition to hosting a wedding shower tea, the Heard-Craig Center for the Arts provides an ideal location for booking a private picture shoot in the magnificent parlor, the library, or the front porch.
