Grana's strong "peasant cookery" of southern Italy is brought to Atlanta, Georgia, using a from-scratch method to making wood-fired Neapolitan pies, homemade pastas, and classic Italian delicacies. Grana is committed to acquiring nutritious, high-quality ingredients from Italy as well as from local suppliers throughout the state in our endeavor to properly accentuate the different flavors present throughout the southern Italian regions of Calabria and Campania. Born into an Italian immigrant family, Executive Chef Pat Pascarella has a passion for authentic Neopolitan food that is as deep as his Italian ancestors' immigration history. The traditional Italian cuisine of his mother and grandmother influenced him as a child. It wasn't long before he was training under James Beard Award-winning chefs and running his own restaurants in Connecticut, New York, and the Atlanta region of Georgia. Gourmet restaurant Grana is directly inspired by the powerful southern Italian cooking of his family's matriarchs, which is why Chef Pat chose this location for his latest culinary venture. It is in their honor that our menu has been kept simple and traditional dishes have been retained unaltered.
