The highest fourteener in Colorado, Mt. Elbert, casts a shadow on FREIGHT. Every afternoon, a passenger train still passes by the window. The stunning, completely renovated depot can accommodate over 200 guests, making it the ideal Leadville, Colorado event space, conference center, or wedding site. Along with the barn-like depot, the property also has a classy courtyard, the Whisky Lime Lounge, which was converted from an old shed, and a conference room for small family gatherings and workshops. 3500 square feet of environment are included with FREIGHT. The old timber flooring has been polished and caulked, making them the ideal dance floor for a wedding. The outdoor courtyard is a wonderful location for lawn sports, wedding ceremonies, and other group activities and boasts a spectacular view of Mount Massive. The Andersons spearheaded the repair, and their daughter and longtime resident Elsa Tharp is now in charge.
