About Freehand Miami

Freehand Miami is the hotel for today’s traveler — combining convenience (a 5-minute walk from Miami Beach, and less than 1 mile from the nightlife of South Beach) with modern comforts, like an outdoor terrace with a pool, one craft cocktail bar, one two level hometown bar, and a seasonal seated events dinner menu. It’s both an escape from the bustle of the strip and an ideal access point to the best of the city. Recently revamped by Authentic Hospitality, industry staple Broken Shaker offers three distinct event areas, each with their own bar: the Courtyard, the Pool Terrace and the Secret Garden. They can be booked individually for groups of up to 100-150 or combined for larger groups of up to 500. A private entrance is also available. Additionally, Broken Shaker is located adjacent to Authentic Hospitality's newest bar, Ray's Hometown Bar. Combined, the two bars can accommodate up to 700 guests. You can also use smaller parts of both bars to create your own unique event for a smaller guest count. Whether you’re hosting an intimate dinner with friends or a corporate happy hour for your team, we’re here to provide you with a variety of eclectic and unique spaces tailored to your needs. Our spaces offer you and your guests innovative private and semi-private venues to host unique gatherings.

What is the venue refund or cancellation policy?
All reservations require a valid credit card on file. Any cancellations within 72 hours of the event date, you will be charged a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total estimated charges. 48 Hours and under 100% estimated charges will be charged to the card on file.
What is the venue capacity?
Maximum Capacity for Property Wide Buyout is 300 guests.
Does the venue offer on-site catering options?
Yes. We have catering menus available for seated dinners and standing receptions.
Does the venue have an approved or preferred vendor list?
We have a vendor list for reference, but you are welcomed to work with your own preferred vendors.
Is there a venue coordinator available to help with event logistics?
