About Fountain View Farm
As residents of Splendora, we believed that our small, gorgeous East Texas town lacked a distinctive attraction that would suit the wedding and event needs of our local and adjacent communities. We established Splendora Wedding and Event Center in response to this need. The need for an event hall that can host weddings of all sizes in our area has long been recognized, and couples in our area no longer have to travel an hour (or more) to the nearest large city. After discovering this lonely piece of property with the ideal-sized pond, we had visions of it being adorned with gorgeous, flowing fountains that would serve as a romantic background for the most unforgettable bridal/wedding scenes ever seen in the area. Fountain View Farm was born as a result of this experience. Fountain View Farm is situated on 8 acres of land that is snugly hidden away just 1 mile from a major highway (Hwy 59/I-69) and offers a peaceful retreat. Friends and co-owners Wesley & Teresa Barron and TJ & Casey Knox have been working together for many years to design and build the magnificent structures and property. They are well-known in the Splendora and New Caney communities for their ability to independently develop successful enterprises that give back to the communities in which they live. Their ambitions of establishing Fountain View Farm will come true as they work together to benefit our communities for years to come. - How many guests can your wedding venue accommodate?
- 300, including the bridal party and vendors.
- Is there a deposit? When are the additional payments due? Do you offer a payment plan?
- Yes. To hold a date we require a $1,000 booking fee at contract signing; however, the booking fee goes towards the balance. The remaining balance will be divided into 3 equal installments due 9 months (first installment), 6 months (second installment) and 90 days (final balance) prior to the event.
- Are there any additional fees for overtime charges, cleaning, insurance or security?
- *We’ve worked hard to ensure our contracts allow plenty of time for your event or wedding to be a great success; therefore we will not allow guests to be on the premises for greater than one hour past the contracted usage time and will charge a $300.00 fee for any overage.
- Do I need to schedule a tour or can I just stop by?
- We kindly request that all tours are by appointment only so that you can be assured that one of our team leaders will be there to inform you about everything our venue has to offer.
- Does Fountain View Farm have dressing rooms?
- Yes, we’ve included a beautiful and spacious bridal suite upstairs with a one way window so that the bride can see her guest as they enter the building. There are 4 make up/hair stations with a private restroom. There is also a custom wine bar attached to the suite.
