Foreland

Whether throwing an event for 50 people or a party of 500, Foreland has a variety of spaces within our Campus that can suit the needs of guests. Our Campus includes three private event venues: The Waterfront (& Great Lawn), the fifth floor Mountain Space, and the Bookhouse. Our Waterfront and Great Lawn along the Catskill Creek are each within the Flagship Building. The Waterfront is a 4,000SF ultra modern venue with a double-height space and doors spilling out to nature. Additionally, there is a private "green room" for wedding prep and staging, as well as a 1,000SF catering kitchen. Next door, our Bookhouse is a stunning, stand-alone, creekside building dedicated exclusively to private event rentals. The building is 10,000SF and boasts some of the most beautiful interior and architectural design of our entire Campus: hand-cut wood slats adorn a double-height ceiling in the main event hall, wherein hundreds of tiny bulbs are nestled to light the space just as standing beneath a starry sky. From custom terrazzo countertops to repurposed, historic flooring dating to 1800, the aesthetic and intention of Bookhouse can only be described as dazzling. We're now booking all venues for 2023, 2024, and 2025. All spaces are available to be rented separately or together, based on the needs of your event. With all venues combined, Foreland is able to accommodate parties of up to 500 people; each individual venue can accommodate 200 people. Each rental allows for 15 hours for set-up, event and breakdown. With several options for both indoor and outdoor events, our experienced team will help bring your vision to life and create the optimal flow for your special day.
