Our modest objective forty-two years ago was to safeguard a pristine area of Martha's Vineyard from overdevelopment and turn it into a first-class, non-exclusive golf environment for everyone to enjoy. Three architects, Geoffrey Cornish, Bill Robinson, and Patrick Mulligan, collaborated on the design of Farm Neck. The course was carved out of a lovely peninsula or "Neck" of farmland on the eastern coast of the Island, abutting Vineyard Sound, when it was developed. You'll travel across a wide range of topography and vegetation while you play, including woodlands, open meadows, salt marshes, beautiful views, and personal encounters with the ocean's edge.
