In addition to being stunningly beautiful and modern, it is also daring in its own right. First and foremost, fusion cuisine blends seamlessly with the most recent gastronomic trends, and the best natural products are elevated to the level of internationally recognized specialties. Each dish on the Encore menu is the culmination of years of effort, gastronomic explorations, and a reverence for the culinary traditions. No matter what your expectations are, Encore, Brooklyn's largest restaurant with the friendliest atmosphere, is waiting to exceed them. Appetizers to die for, seductively sizzling sausages, succulent chickens, tender shrimp, juicy steaks, and much more are available at the restaurant. At a young age, I was inspired to pursue a career in the culinary arts. When I first arrived in the United States, I enrolled in courses in hotel and restaurant management at New York Technical College. The opportunity to work in France, at the prestigious Hotel de France, presented itself to me in 1998. Later, I made my way into the New York City restaurant industry, where I worked as a pastry chef at the Russian Tea Room. I was awarded two gold medals by the Societe Culinaire Philanthropique's Salon of Culinary Art for my work in the kitchen. Having worked at places such as the Glen Oaks Country Club, City Hall, La Grenouille, and Gascogne Bistro, I decided to branch out and open my own restaurant on Staten Island in 2007. Over the course of seven years, the Alor Cafe has evolved into a fine dining and music venue. Today, I am the proud father of three children, and I live in Brooklyn with my wife. As a business owner, I take pleasure in giving back to my community. I also appreciate that Staten Island's accessibility allows for affordable ownership while still remaining connected to the city's energy. I recently ended my relationship with my long-term partner, but I'm ready to move on to the next phase. My current project is the "Better Burger" Project for the Chefs of America Foundation, on which I am currently working as a member. I've taken on this responsibility with the goal of demonstrating to the Staten Island community that eating healthy, sustainable foods is a wise choice and that this is the direction in which the restaurant market is moving.
