It was in the beginning of 2016 that Drift Fish House & Oyster Bar opened its doors. Chef and owner Doug Turbush has a vision for establishing a bustling oyster bar and seafood joint in the landlocked community of East Cobb. Fresh fish and oysters are flown in from the coasts every day to Drift Restaurant. Preparations are straightforward and elegant, and they revolve around a wood-fired grill. Desserts made in-house, locally sourced ingredients, and options for both plant-based and meat-based diets round out the seasonal menu. In addition to offering handcrafted cocktails, the bar is well-stocked with sparkling, white, rose, and red wines that are suitable for traveling by sea. As the first restaurant partner in Georgia of The Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch Program, Drift is dedicated to sourcing the highest quality sustainable seafood available.
