David H. Koch Theater

As a jewel in the crown of Lincoln Center, the David H. Koch Theater features stunning architecture, magnificent examples of modern art and offers technically superior production facilities. The Promenade and adjoining lobby spaces of The David H. Koch Theater provide an elegant and distinctive location for hosting galas, receptions, and other events. The Promenade features a gold-leaf ceiling with large windows and a balcony facing the plaza of Lincoln Center. The venue features one of the largest interior event spaces in New York City. The Portico, an exterior terrace adjoining the Promenade overlooking the fountain, can be used as an additional seating area or as an extension of the party space. The auditorium seats 2,586 with a continental style configuration on the orchestra level and five Ring levels studded with “jewel” faceted lights. An immense spherical chandelier is the centerpiece of the ornately paneled gold ceiling.
