Cypress Grove Wedding Venue & Bridal Suite

Cypress Grove Wedding Venue is a special place for us, and we're thrilled to share it with you! My name is Ted, and the name of my wife's is Joy. We are young empty nesters who have returned to our hometown and purchased this property in 2016 after having lived away for many years. We have two children and two grandchildren. We live on the property next to the venue and enjoy being on site because it allows us to meet so many beautiful couples as they go through the process of arranging their special wedding weekend. We have a dog and a cat, and we enjoy spending time with them. We have two daughters who are both married and have recently welcomed three adorable boys into the family, making us the proud grandparents of three little boys! Last but not least, don't forget about our newest member of the Cypress Grove family, our adorable Labradoodle Jolie! The venue is a historic general store that was built in 1886 and relocated to its current location in the 1990s. As a general shop, it was well-known for being one of the last locations that Bonnie and Clyde attempted to rob in 1934, when it was still in operation. The store has been transformed into a celebration venue, complete with a lovely verdant open field and a slab for the wedding ceremony. Moreover, in the event that it rains, this historic wedding venue has a one-of-a-kind backup plan. As you step through the old french doors, you are greeted by a spacious covered porch with cypress benches that run the length of the porch. This room is great, and it also serves as a wonderful covered reception area for any event. The atmosphere you will experience here is a classic rustic ambience in a historical setting, yet it has been upgraded with modern amenities like as a large central air system and wi-fi throughout the property. The interior is decorated in a light palette with white vintage shiplap, wood ceilings and floors, antique wooden carbels, original 1800's counters that are perfect for serving meals, and much more! All of these factors combine to make Cypress Grove a top-rated wedding venue and a popular choice among brides.
