The unique and charming historic Curtiss Mansion, built in 1925, was the home of Glenn Hammond Curtiss (“The Father of Aviation”) and his beloved wife Lena. Recently restored to its original splendor, the Mansion is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is centrally located just north of Miami International Airport in beautiful Miami Springs, a city founded by Curtiss. With distinctive architectural details, a rich history and verdant tropical landscaping, it is the perfect setting for any engaged couple looking for an unforgettable and personalized experience. Multiple spaces are available for both large and intimate indoor, outdoor and courtyard receptions and ceremonies, which can be held in the lush shaded grove, in front of a romantic bridge or under the elegant stone archway.

- The venue rental encompasses solely the space itself. The property is provided as a blank canvas, offering multiple vendor options for event customization. The rental includes a 5-hour load-in period, a 5-hour event duration, and a 2-hour load-out period.
- What is the venue refund or cancellation policy?
- Our deposit is non-refundable, in line with standard practice at many venues.
- What is the venue capacity?
- For a fully indoor wedding, our maximum capacity is 80 guests. Outdoors, we can accommodate up to 180 guests in a single space. By utilizing two adjacent areas, we have successfully hosted events with up to 300 guests. For more dynamic, flowing events, we can accommodate up to 400 guests.
- Does the venue have any décor restrictions?
- The Curtiss Mansion is a historic site with specific restrictions on décor. We do not permit any decorations that would alter or damage the walls, structure, or gardens.
