Cleveland Museum of Natural History

The Cleveland Museum of Natural History delivers an event experience that is unforgettable by fusing education and entertainment. Our venue's fascinating exhibitions and well-known discoveries will inspire you and your guests, whether you're organizing a small dinner party, a formal corporate event, or a lavish wedding and reception. From 10 to 500 people, the Museum can accommodate them all without issue! Events can be held in one of our lovely outdoor courtyards or galleries, which both allow for seated dinners and strolling receptions where your guests can experience the wonders of science and nature. With 440 seats, our Murch Auditorium is ideal for gatherings, seminars, and plays. For an additional cost, live animal activities can be added to any event. Up to 30 60-inch round tables, 30 6-foot rectangle tables, 10 high-top tables, and 250 chairs are available for rental. You can arrange a memorable event in the distinctive setting of our refurbished Shafran Planetarium, which will have new flexible seating choices, for bookings made in the summer of 2022 or later. The Museum is pleased to provide a list of recommended caterers who will work with you to develop a specialized menu for your event. The Museum has a seven-day liquor license, so you may offer a full-service hosted or cash bar to your guests.
