Cayton's Children Museum

The Cayton Children's Museum is the perfect place to host your next gathering! Set right off the beach in the heart of vibrant Downtown Santa Monica, the Cayton offers 21,000 square feet of play space with 25 discovery-based exhibits, art studios and an award-winning theater as well as gallery pop-up space and community space—all in the heart of shopping and dining at Santa Monica Place. For everything from birthday parties to baby showers to corporate events, the Cayton Children's Museum has a solution that will meet your needs. In the event that you rent space at the Cayton, our event professionals will work with you to customize a package that meets your specific requirements. We collaborate with a network of preferred event vendors, caterers, performers, artists, photographers, and more, allowing you to concentrate on your celebration! Catering, performers and artists, photographers, and other services are available so that you can concentrate on the person who is blowing out the candles. We have several private rooms available for event rentals, as well as the entire museum available for private buy-outs for groups of up to 500 people (see below).
