A vibrant restaurant surrounded by ample outdoor space and lush greenery, Casa serves locally-sourced Mexican cuisine rooted in tradition. Colorful patterns and textiles make for a memorable space designed to suit a variety of gatherings. With a culinary team led by Chef Joe Bower, Casa offers an assortment of tacos made with tortillas from San Diego's Gabriel Tortilleria ranging from Chili Braised Brisket with shredded brisket, queso and pico de gallo to Al Pastor and Garlic Shrimp Rojo with pickled hot peppers and carrots, chipotle mayo, cabbage and Oaxaca cheese. Casa's menu also features a range of tortas, all with bread made fresh daily and sourced from Northgate Market. Highlights include Shredded Beef and Ham with chorizo, pepper jack, mayo, pickled onions and jalapeños and Soyrizo and Black Bean with queso, jalapeño, avocado and lettuce. A variety of salads and sides including creamed elote and nachos round out the menu. The restaurant's agua frescas take advantage of San Diego's fresh bounty of produce, made daily with locally grown ingredients. Casa is available for events with multiple designated spaces accommodating up to 200 guests. Features include an outdoor bar and conference style space with projector and screen capabilities.
