Having served host to the United States Air Force Cadets under the command of Captain Clark Gable during World War II, the Cadet Hotel is recognized as a landmark boutique hotel in Miami Beach. Today, the hotel, which features 32 rooms, two junior suites, and one master suite, has been renovated to the highest standards while maintaining its splendor and Art Deco architecture. It is one of the few privately owned hotels in the area, owned by breast cancer specialist Vilma Biaggi, M.D., who spends almost every weekend at the hotel (and can often be found playing piano for guests in the evening).
