Bottega offers an unmistakably Italian sense of style in a stunning Napa Valley setting. Dine outside on their expansive patio, complete with two stone fireplaces to warm you on the coolest Napa nights. Inside, you’ll find a warm, rustic setting adorned with Venetian plaster, Murano glass chandeliers, soft leather chairs, and ample tables — the perfect atmosphere for a meal and an experience to remember. Like their food, the interior celebrates both the rustic and the refined: Olive greens, chocolate browns and deep reds create a warm and welcoming atmosphere palette. They also offer two indoor dining rooms with a private dining/wine room and bar, as well as five communal tables made of forty year-old timbers, Calcutta d’Oro marble, and recycled concrete. Chef, vintner, sustainable farmer, author, and Emmy®-winning TV host Michael Chiarello is a culinary icon. He was named Chef of the Year by Food & Wine magazine in 1985, just three years after graduating from the Culinary Institute of America. From his pioneering days at Tra Vigne, to his critically acclaimed Napa Valley restaurant Bottega, and San Francisco’s Coqueta — a 2013 James Beard Award Best New Restaurant Finalist — Michael has combined his passion for seasonal, global flavors, and sustainable living with his Southern Italian roots to create dishes that have inspired thousands. He has been a national television host of his own shows for over a decade on PBS, Food Network and Cooking Channel. Michael lives among his Napa Valley vineyards with his wife and children. For 30 years, Chef Michael Chiarello has made his home in Napa Valley, cooking, making wine, and sharing the best of Napa Valley with our guests. If you’re planning an event that calls for something extra special, Chef Chiarello and the staff would be delighted to provide a one-of-a-kind setting and create a menu to mark the occasion. You can also choose from a variety of Private Event dining packages featuring our seasonal menu. Let them create an unforgettable experience for you and your group. Known as our private dining room, Banchetto captures the rustic Italian look and feel of Chef Chiarello’s grandmother’s dining room, with expansive tables, comfortable chairs, and Murano glass chandeliers. Banchetto has its own private bar and lounge area, and is the ideal setting for intimate wedding celebrations and business gatherings alike. This area holds up to 56 guests. The Italian word “enoteca” is often used to describe the small wine shops found in Italian villages and towns. This unique space is located in the Bottega wine cellar, where you and your guests will enjoy food and hospitality surrounded by thousands of fine vintages from near and far. Enoteca is perfect for any gathering of wine aficionados and holds up to 16 guests. Bottega Terrazo is the choice for guests who want to experience the fresh air and surrounding natural beauty of Napa Valley while they savor Chef Chiarello’s culinary creations. Open year-round, the Terrazzo offers covered, open-air dining, with majestic fireplaces to keep you and your guests warm on the cool Napa Valley nights and holds up to 50 guests. For a few extra-special occasions, the entire Bottega restaurant space, including the kitchen and staff are available to create a truly unforgettable experience. As you might imagine, this requires a great deal of planning, so be sure to contact us well in advance. This holds up to 200 guests. A new, versatile space located just across from Bottega in our Mercato, Ottimo is a casual dining spot that can be transformed into a large formal dining room. This space is also ideal for late-night parties and celebrations that include live music and dancing. This holds up to 100 guests. Another option for dining al fresco, the new Ottimo Terrace offers the same open-air experience and amenities as the Bottega Terrazzo, but with even more space. Holds up to 140 guests. The Ottimo and Ottimo Terrace spaces can be combined for even larger events with up to 300 guests. The story of Chef Chiarello’s family is told every day in the kitchen, but also in every glass of wine from Chiarello Family Vineyards. Located in the V Market along with Bottega and Ottimo, the Family Tasting Salon can accommodate up to 18 guests. Guests can choose from the Group Dining Menu, or create a custom menu that includes Chiarello Family wine pairings.
