In 1949, Mr. and Mrs. Roy J. McKee acquired the estate. Ten years later, St. Martin's Episcopal Church took over the grounds and reformed it into what it is today: a quaint and lush event venue and the perfect place for couples to start their happily ever after. Bolingbroke emanates a homey and cozy feel. Featuring pastel-painted walls, a gorgeous vintage fireplace, and French windows and doors that allow the light of the Pennsylvania sunshine to creep through, this mansion truly resonates with couples looking for an intimate wedding experience. Bolingbroke can hold up to 100 guests inside and hosts a variety of spaces for ceremonies and receptions. Couples can use the mansion's secluded gardens or lawn, blooming with local flora. They can also exchange vows or mingle over cocktail hour drinks beneath the shade of the stone patio. Tented receptions out in the lawn are a magical option and can accommodate up to 150 guests for seated receptions or 220 for standing. Catering by Design is Bolingbroke's exclusive caterer.
