Bisong Art Gallery is a distinctive venue for local events in downtown Houston, Texas. The gallery is available to rent for various private events. Guests have held cocktail parties, receptions, team building painting parties, book signings, and political events to name a few. The 1300sq-ft loft has exposed brick and concrete floors. The space offers a unique atmosphere for intimate events. The gallery can accommodate 80 guests cocktail style standing (using indoor and patio). Owner, Carla Bisong founded Bisong Art Gallery in 2013 inside a 1300sq. ft loft located in the Historic Warehouse District of downtown Houston, Texas. While working for Merrill Lynch, she decided it was time to follow her passion and open an art gallery to showcase talented artists that might not have representation from the larger well-known art galleries. For years she worked full time in the financial industry and grew the art gallery until it was time to leave the corporate job to make Bisong Art Gallery what it has become today. She brings her love for marketing and art while providing a platform for artists and art lovers to connect. The gallery is deeply rooted in the community providing art exhibitions, workshops, painting classes, weddings, and corporate receptions to name a few. Gallery Amenities: ​Number of rooms: 1 + patio Size: 1200 square feet Space: 80 guests standing / 60 seated ​$120/hr 10 or less guests $150/hr for events with 11 - 60 guests $200/hr for events more than 60+ $100 Cleaning Fee 6 hour minimum on gallery rentals on Friday and Saturday evenings 50% deposit to secure your date, remaining balance due before your event $300 refundable damage deposit Outside food and drinks are allowed Amenities: 16' Bar, refrigerator, oven & microwave, outdoor patio, restroom, wifi, and speakers for music. 50 black folding chairs included 10 (6ft) rectangle folding tables (72" x 36") 4 bar high tables (32" round, 43.5" height) Black, White or Ivory Linens are included Gallery staff member will be present during your event to unlock and lockup.
