Big Red Sun is a landscape and garden design studio, plant nursery, and lifestyle boutique based in Venice, California. The company provides a full range of services. Our studio and design center, which was originally located in downtown Austin, Texas, has now moved to a location just a few blocks from Venice Beach. As landscape and garden designers, we offer a wide range of services to commercial and residential clients. We also create interior and exterior commissions, floral and plant arrangements for special events, and boutique gathering and event spaces in both Venice, California, and Austin, Texas. Owner and principal designer, Selena Souders, along with her team of designers and construction crew, create and implement a variety of extraordinary landscape, hardscape, and gardening solutions for both residential and commercial spaces, starting with the initial design concept. The talents and experiences of our team are pooled together, and our work incorporates elements of philosophy, architecture, field botany, welding, floral design, and stone carving. Our magical oasis on Rose Avenue in Venice is fully stocked with a wide variety of signature vessels, plantings, succulents, and home/garden accessories to suit any style or budget.
