Barca Pier & Wine Bar

Located on the Old Town Alexandria waterfront, BARCA (Spanish for boat) styles shipyard chic and Catalonian coastal influence into a waterfront Pier and Wine Bar. Both indoor and outdoor spaces serve up Spanish-Mediterranean small plates, wine, sangria, and cocktails. Built out on the water, Barca Pier is a modern version of the traditional Spanish beach bars, or chiringuitos. Constructed out of shipping containers, Barca Pier features al fresco dining, with seating for 200 guests at tables, a large bar, and lounge areas partially covered by retractable awnings. Sip, nosh, and soak up the sun along the majestic Potomac River against the backdrop of the Nation's Capital in the distance. Barca's menu highlights small plates / tapas with Mediterranean, Greek, Italian, and Moroccan flavors. Located on the waterfront in historic Old Town Alexandria, Barca Wine Bar is an intimate space, adorned in rich, vibrant jewel toned walls, and sophisticated, brushed gold lighting fixtures. Perfect for cocktail receptions or casual gatherings up to 50 guests (indoors & outdoors, combined), Barca Wine Bar features a vast selection of unique wines from around the world. The indoor space features an elegant U-shaped Bar with 16 stools and a few small tables (both high tops and low dining tables), accommodating approximately 25 guests for a cocktail reception / casual tapas buffet, and the exterior patio provides an additional 24 seats with sweeping Potomac River views. ‍ BARCA Pier & Wine Bar reflects the convivial riverfront atmosphere of historic Old Town Alexandria's Robinson Landing.
