Ada's on the River

An homage to 19th-century mathematician Ada Lovelace, Ada’s offers stunning views of the Potomac and features wood-fired prime steaks, fresh seafood and vegetarian fare. The interior, designed by Hapstak Demetrios, provides a warm, modern feel with 15-foot floor-to-ceiling windows and inviting booth seating. The wood-burning oven is a central component to the open-concept kitchen, nestled under a sweeping hull-like wood panel, and accented with vibrant red tiles. The private dining room features a ‘hidden’ screen for presentations, a built-in wine rack, and flexible seating arrangements. Original art features Ada, her father, the poet Lord Byron, and other figures such as Jane Austen, Mary Shelley, and Emily and Charlotte Bronte. For a buyout, the restaurant can host 150 guests for a standing cocktail reception, with 125 seated indoors at dining tables, bar stools, and high tops, including a private 30-seat dining room, plus their outdoor patio, which seats 100. Some booths in the dining room can be removed to provide a more open floorplan for a cocktail reception. For a smaller group, the private dining room at Ada's provides an intimate space for up to 30 seated or 40 standing guests. The room is fully enclosed with a door for privacy, and features a wall-mounted tv that can be used to display a slideshow or artwork. Our talented culinary team has created a variety of delicious, made-from-scratch menus, including delicious hors d’oeuvres and elegant buffets.
