AcA is located in the heart of Lafayette's thriving downtown district, which boasts world-class architecture in a vibrant urban setting. Every type of event can be hosted in the James Devin Moncus Theater, which can be reconfigured to meet your needs. A beautiful, open space with marble floors, a grand staircase, and a glass front, the AcA's Atrium and Café Seating area provides a picturesque setting for any event. The AcA is an excellent choice for a variety of occasions, including wedding receptions, office parties, and company events. The ArtHouse is a large, bright room with high ceilings and plenty of natural light on the Second Floor. More than 1,300 square feet of meeting and performance space is available at the ArtHouse. We believe that every bride and groom should have the wedding of their dreams, so we make every effort to accommodate any budget that you may have. The Acadiana Center for the Arts is a premier visual and performing arts center in Lafayette, Louisiana, and serves the surrounding communities. The theatre can be reconfigured to accommodate any size event, and we also have a spacious atrium complete with a large marble staircase and cafe seating area, as well as a 1,200 square foot Arthouse with natural lighting that is ideal for smaller gatherings and meetings. We also have dressing rooms where you can get ready before the main event begins. Due to the fact that we believe that you should be able to have everything that you desire on your wedding day, we are happy to work with any budget that you may have. Our tour guides are available Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; simply contact us when you are ready to tour the facility.
