RETREAT IN THE HEART OF THE RUSSIAN COUNTRY Ranch A Range of Affairs is a 1000-acre facility that hosts a variety of rustic weddings and other events. With its location among North Central Texas' oak-covered hills and breathtaking landscape ranging from thickly wooded sections to open vistas, the ranch is a must-see for everyone visiting the area. On the ranch, there are 20 different species of exotic animals from four different continents that are allowed to graze freely around. The ranch has been in operation since 1995 and is owned and run by the same family. In order to hold your perfect event, we provide a variety of conveniences. A short drive outside of Chico, Texas and an hour northwest of Fort Worth, puts us in a convenient location. DFW Airport and the city of Dallas are a quick 1.5-hour drive away. Decatur, Bridgeport, and Bowie are all within 30 minutes of the ranch, while Denton and Weatherford are both 45 minutes distant. As well as clean and spacious cabins that can accommodate everyone in your group, we also have exciting and safe rifle and pistol ranges, as well as skeet ranges.
