550 Trackside

In 1904, 550 Trackside was developed as a Cotton Warehouse. Because Mr. Mauldin was constructing the building out of granite from Stone Mountain, it was the talk of the town while it was under construction. The residents of the town questioned if a structure composed of such material could possibly last. It's been called The Langley General Store, The Mercantile Exchange, A Feed and Seed Company, the Grinder, and the Goldkist Building over the years. Our venue, which first opened its doors in 2008, was designed exclusively for unique gatherings. The high ceilings of 100-year-old rough-hewn wood, archways, chandeliers, furnishings, and attention to detail preserve and maintain the authenticity and charm of the turn of the century. 550 Trackside was built in 1904 as a Cotton Warehouse and is made of Stone Mountain granite. We refurbished, restored, and designed the venue before it opened in 2008 to be a place where people can congregate, connect, celebrate, and create memories. The 100-year-old rough-hewn wood ceilings, archways, chandeliers, furnishings, and attention to detail preserve and sustain the building's turn-of-the-century authenticity and elegance.
