Richard and Shea Lyn bought the historic house and land in 2008 and turned it into Texas' most unusual wedding venue. The farmhouse has been set aside for the bridal party, with a lovely bridal suite and lots of space for the ladies to rest and prepare for the big day. Just behind the house, a 6,000 square foot rustic-elegant reception pavilion sits next to a beautifully groomed lawn and white gazebo. A roomy and rustic groom's chamber with comfortable seats and a TV is located within the pavilion. In March of 2009, the Farmhouse's front porch hosted the very first wedding. Hundreds of couples have taken their vows at numerous ceremony venues throughout the property since then, enjoying the tranquil country atmosphere.
