She earned a bachelor's degree in fine art and illustration from Auburn University. Her art has developed to focus on the canvas backdrop, with the majority of her work focusing on interior finishes, design, and murals. The artist's backdrop line, as represented in each of their names, is inspired by the places she has resided as well as her travels throughout the years.
