Jeanne's personal experience in organizing her New Year's Eve wedding in 2013 provided the inspiration for the concept of SuitShop.com. She and her husband were obliged to follow the traditional way of renting because there were no other alternatives available to financially dress their groomsmen. However, they were dissatisfied by the logistics, poor fit, and expense of the rental option. Jeanne, who had previous experience working in the fashion sector, devised a novel approach to the problem of what to wear to formal events by designing a tuxedo that had a crisp appearance and could be purchased for a lower price than a standard rental would be. Diana, her lifelong and best childhood friend, joined her in her endeavors, and in February of 2016, the two of them founded SuitShop together under the name The Groomsman Suit. Since that time, the organization has had the privilege of participating in a large number of weddings and assisting a large number of individuals in looking their best.
