    NEAL BALKOWITSCH
    Founder & Consultant
    After establishing himself in the food and beverage industry of Minneapolis, Neal moved to Boston in 1989 to manage Pine Brook Country Club in Weston. Neal's attention to detail and impeccable taste became indispensable in all aspects of the special events operations at Pine Brook. In 2000, Neal co-founded MAX Ultimate Food and currently sits on the Board of Trustees for th Huntington Theatre Company, Corporation of Perkins School for the Blind, and Board of Trustees of the Fine Arts Work Center
    Bobby Perino
    Vice President
    After attending California Pacific College for the Performing Arts, and performing around the world, Bobby moved to New York. Managing at various restaurants and catering companies in NY led him to Olivier Cheng Catering. With knowledge and experience to create exceptional events he became the Catering Director of Mint Catering. In 2017 Bobby moved to Boston to join the renowned MAX Ultimate Food. After working as the General Manager, he became the Vice President in 2023.

    Sales Director
    Alexis started her career in the food and beverage industry by graduating from culinary school from New England Culinary Institute. After spending many years in the restaurant and hotel industry Alexis decided to jump into the front of the house field and has been in catering sales for well over 15 years. Focus for Alexis is mostly corporate clients while mixing in with non- profits and social clients for their special milestone events.
    Amanda Lomax
    Director of MAX Out
    Amanda has been with Max Ultimate Food since 2013, as part of both the front-of-house and culinary teams. She has worked with events of all shapes and sizes, from corporate to social, in venues all across Boston. She looks forward to bringing this expertise as well as her passion for great food to MAX Out; creating a simple, memorable, and most importantly delicious experience for our clients.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    1. Do you offer tastings, and when would my tasting take place?
      2. A complimentary tasting for 2 is included with all contracted weddings. If you wish to do a tasting prior to contract, a tasting charge of $500 will apply. If you move to contract, that will be applied as a credit on your estimated invoice.
    2. Do you offer bar or liquor packages?
      3. Yes! All of our bar charges are based on consumption. You will only be billed what your guests drink.
    3. What are the pricing options for your packages?
      4. We understand that planning an event is stressful which is why we believe in full transparency. After our initial consultation, you will receive a full, detailed proposal and clear estimate of all charges.
