My background is heavily influenced by fashion, hospitality, cuisine, and entertaining. A small-town upbringing, big-city adventures, and travel have given me a distinct perspective; an eclectic blend of traditional and cutting-edge. Quality ingredients, organic flower patterns, and the art of restraint are at the heart of my aesthetics. Style, hospitality, food, and entertainment are all key components of my life, all of which are shaped by my childhood in a small town, city life, and travel. I've gained a distinct perspective as a result of the range of experiences I've had. I like how there's a combination of vintage and cutting-edge elements; it's an eclectic mix. Quality ingredients, organic flower patterns, and open but tastefully constrained inventiveness are the foundations of my aesthetics. I am upbeat and dependable, focused but not agitated, and the one in the room who can and will deal with the tension and unexpected twists and turns that an intrinsically emotional event invariably brings. I listen to your design vision and help you make it a reality. I added meat to the bones. I am a creator of beauty. I'm the one who makes things happen. I adore the brainstorming and "dream big" stage that all wedding planning begins with. Design, in my opinion, should be informed by approaches to "create experiences." All day long, quality trumps quantity. It gives me great pleasure to include personal touches that are unique to the bride and groom and their families. There are never enough personal touches to include in a wedding. I thrive on sticking to a "sound" wedding weekend schedule, but I'm also quick on my feet and can handle any unanticipated surprises calmly. When the newlywed couple is introduced and the guests clap and cheer, it's one of my favorite moments!
