Jessica Chuang
Vice President
Jessica's origin story is rooted in a genuine passion for hospitality and the art of catering. From an early age, she immersed herself in the industry, learning the tricks of the trade and contributing to the growth of her family's business. After college, Jessica pursued her ambitions and secured positions at renowned companies such as The Plaza and Great Performances. However, in 2020, she felt compelled to return to her roots and join the family business on a full-time basis.

James Chuang, the mind behind Ichiban Catering, immigrated here in 1984 with the hope of achieving the American Dream. In 1997, he and his brothers opened our first location in Princeton, New Jersey. Since then, we've evolved from a small, family-run restaurant to a luxury sushi catering company with an impressive clientele of New York City’s most-coveted venues including Cipriani, The Plaza, and many more.

    2. While we are known for our sushi catering, we've since expanded to encompass different Asian cuisine. We offer Peking Duck, Dim Sum, Ramen, Boba, Korean, and much more!
  2. Do you offer catering options to accommodate special dietary needs?
    3. Yes. We offer different special dietary needs whether it be kosher style, gluten free, or a food allergy. One of our team members has severe allergies so she makes it an important point to address all food restrictions.
  3. What menu customization options do you offer?
    4. While a lot of our station menus are offered as a package to make selections easier, nothing is ever set and stone. If there is a customization you'd like to see in our menu, we'll see how we can make it work!
