Gaines Productions

Hello! I'm Clark Gaines, and I'd like to extend a warm welcome to Gaines Productions. November 10, 2013: I lost something precious. Matt Walters, one of my closest friends, was killed in an automobile accident. Growing up, Matt and I discussed a variety of topics, particularly during football practice. We talked about our aspirations for the future and where we intended to attend college. I frequently reflect on some of the things I told him, such as how I intended to become a landscape architect. I was so wrong about that, man! I miss Matt terribly, but shortly after his passing, I discovered something. I discovered a means to communicate my feelings, share my experiences, and tell my stories. I discovered videography. I started to compose a video instead of repressing my feelings after losing Matt and leaving my hometown. Even though I had no idea what I was doing, it felt amazing. After watching it several hundred times while editing it, it felt extremely good to start crying. This video gave us a picture of life when Matt was here. I felt compelled by God to launch this business, and He has richly blessed me. I know that He will lead and direct me in this quest, even though giving up a teaching position and taking a complete leap of faith were difficult decisions for me to make. He'll continue to look out for us as the exciting future unfolds.
