Docuvitae is a documentary wedding photography studio founded in 2002. The studio is run by two Los Angeles-based female artists, who believe good photography tells a story. The mission of the studio is to create authentic photographs of our clients with the people they love. Each couple, wedding and family is unique and our photographs mirror your life. With each commission, our work is complete when we have captured the spirit of our time together. While we appreciate a beautiful backdrop and magic-hour light, our experience in photojournalism and fine art photography leads us to seek out what is real and genuine and to shy away from contrived moments. Because we know the value of striking portraits that stand the test of time, we can also take charge and direct. We wear many hats on a wedding day, but it is our dedication to true story-telling that for nearly twenty years has helped us find like-minded clients who appreciate exceptional documentary photography.
