My name is Marcus; most people know me as DJ Fire. I own and operate Fire Entertainment, a positive DJ company that has operated for over a decade. I currently have over 12 years of DJ experience. What makes me unique? My ability to connect old to new while blurring the lines between nightlife and private entertainment worlds. - Yes, I guide you through the song selection process, whether you have a lot of requests or just a few. Also, I like to know 10 songs that are your "must play" tracks, and while I'll try to get to the rest as much as possible, they will serve primarily as inspiration
- Do you specialize in a certain genre of music?
- I'm an open-format DJ. I specialize in Afro-beats, Dancehall, soca, 'throwbacks, Top 40, Club Bangers, pop, hip-hop, R&B, and Gospel
- Do you take song requests from guests?
- Yes, I TAKE requests; it depends on the atmosphere of the event whether the request gets played.
- Is someone available to act as the emcee?
- Yes, that would be me. I'm very comfortable on the mic. I think the role of the MC is not only to be making appropriate announcements and introductions but also to keep the event moving at a good pace.
