Cole Drake Events are luxury destination wedding planners that are located in the heart of the Napa and Sonoma Wine Country. Our experienced team has created a planning foundation that is based on appealing to the senses, with honesty, authenticity, creativity, and (a sh*t ton of) humor with just a smidge of sarcasm. Our planning approach focuses on each project from conception to completion; amassing the perfect talent for the event is our forte. Each preferred partner is carefully selected based upon a number of factors including our clients’ personality and interests as to create synchronicity in the process. While there is a natural order and flow to planning, our clients’ weddings and events are all quite unique from one another. We work to keep our clients’ vision true to their event (or perhaps they need inspiration from us) and excel at creating a sensory experience for the guests on that important day/weekend. Many in the industry would say that Stephanie has a certain “je ne sais quoi” about her. One could say it genetically came from her mother – an industry icon who plans large, elaborate events for non-profits and California cities. Others could say it developed when she began to work and learn the business at a young age (or as she describes it, “was volunteered to volunteer”). Either way, her passion and love for her profession is one that is as effervescent as a bottle of Champagne.
MaKela Allen
The Energizer
It’s time to meet the “Hostess with the Mostess”. MaKela Allen is the epitome of hospitality’s golden rule, due unto others as ‘they’ would want done unto themselves. From a very early age, she realized the profound quality of curated events and allowing guests to enjoy their day to the fullest. From this early onset, it became an obsession to understand how guests move, taste, touch, smell, and visualize their surroundings and what can be utilized in events to bring joy.
Courtney Bailey
The Powerhouse
A native Virginian, Courtney bid farewell to the East Coast after college and hit the warm shores of sunny San Diego, CA. With salt water winds in her hair, Courtney found the love of her life - both in her career and her future husband in CA. After a few years in Southern California, Courtney and her husband moved north and settled down in Wine Country. After a long tenure in two luxury hotels catering and sales departments, Cole Drake Events was lucky enough to have Courtney join their team.
