About Coffee Cart Boys
Founded in 2020
We're a Mobile Cafe & Barista Service headquartered in Monrovia, CA (near Pasadena). We serve high-quality, exclusive Nicaraguan specialty coffee and coffee fruit ("cascara") tea via traditional and non-traditional brewing methods most Americans are unfamiliar with (pour-overs, French Press and nitro), providing an experience they wouldn't normally get at shops like Starbucks. However, we can and are happy to serve familiar mixed coffee drinks as needed; cold brew coffee, hot drip coffee or tea as the drink base with dairy or non-dairy milks and sugar/sugar-free syrup flavors. Please note that we do not serve espresso. We're a small business making a big impact in our community; donating 5-10% of proceeds from every sale to a local non-profit organization called Learning Works Charter School. It's an institution that keeps at-risk/in-crisis youth off the streets and in the classroom, empowering them to get the high school educations they deserve. Our long-term goal is to build a coffee cart franchise program for hungry entrepreneurs across the US looking to get into the coffee industry, operating within cities that have nonprofits who need a little extra support to uplift their own communities.

The minimum service includes two hours of barista service (2 baristas and up to 100 guests) with unlimited coffee and tea drinks. Price increases with guest count and hours needed.

- Do you offer catering options to accommodate special dietary needs?
- Yes! We offer dairy or non-dairy milks as a part of our menu as well as sugar or sugar-free syrup flavorings. We kindly request what the host prefers well-beforehand so we're prepared. :)
- What are my options for food display and service?
- We're a very simple and straightforward setup. So, we set up a couple or few tables depending on the guest count. Our service is very similar to bartenders or cafes: walk up and order with drink send-off at the side. Our table cloths and decor can also be personalized based on the event's theme.
- What menu customization options do you offer?
- We have a standard selection of coffee and tea, but the mixed drinks is where things can get creative! So, we can create custom menu items based on the event host's requests or we can serve our best sellers. We're very flexible, and also can provide hot chocolate and/or other non-caffeinated drinks.
- Will you bring your own catering equipment to my venue?
- Yes, we will bring everything we need (brewing devices, cups, etc.). However, if your venue already has tables and table cloths we can use them instead of our own. We also typically bring our own potable water, sink and generator, but if the venue provides those and access to power, that's a plus!
- How many other events will you cater on the day of my event?
- None. Just yours. :)
