About Christine Janda Design & Events

Christine’s career started at top advertising agencies, DraftFCB and Leo Burnett, where she exercised her superior client and project management skills as an Account Executive. From managing TV commercial shoots in LA to benefit sponsorship events and fashion shows in Miami, Christine quickly learned a fast-paced creative career was in her future. Following her advertising career Christine planned, designed and executed numerous weddings, social and corporate events as Event Director for the highly respected event company, A Perfect Event. After 3 years as Event Director, Christine made the leap to fulfill her dream of opening her own event planning and design company. Bringing her client’s visions to life through her beautiful wedding and special event flowers and designs is what Christine does best.     Christine Janda
    Owner & Lead Planner
    I believe being a wedding planner makes me a better designer, and vice versa. The merging of such a personal business combined with my expertise within event design and flowers, is what makes CJDE unique. And after a career in Advertising, having loved the meticulous process of project management, I have built a planning business using the same principles. Today, I have produced over 200 weddings over the last 10 years.

    As CJDE’s Lead Wedding Planner & Designer, Katy has a natural ability to walk into an empty room and design it in a way that speaks to both beauty and function. From Chicago to Charleston, it’s no surprise our Clients LOVE securing her planning services before any other wedding vendor. Katy listens intently, always helping her Clients uncover what’s most important to them (often before they even know it!) and ALWAYS finds that perfect Wedding Venue in a gorgeous sea of options!

    Our prestigious Fashion Institute of Design graduate, Giora comes to us after 18 years of event design and production experience in NYC. His designs have been seen around the globe, having worked with some of the biggest names in the event industry including his mentor, Colin Cowie. Giora has a way of peeling back the layers of a design project, always taking the time to understand our Client’s true intent, likes and subjective tastes.

    1. What event planning services do you offer?
      2. We provide our Clients with full-service wedding, corporate and social event planning and design services. From full weekend wedding affairs to birthday parties, and corporate conferences. We also design all of our own floral in-house as event florists and design experts.
    2. Do you offer day-of wedding coordination?
      3. We do provide wedding coordination for our Clients with services starting 3-months out from their wedding day. This is the CJDE version and high standard for "day-of" coordination as we have found the more time we spend together, the better we can learn the wedding our couples have carefully planned
    3. What event planning packages do you offer?
      4. All of our planning and design services are custom, with no set "packages" in an effort to provide our Clients with exactly what their event needs.
