Ingrid Nagy
Owner & CFO
Ingrid brings over 30 years of experience in the catering and events industry. Together Ingrid & her partner, Cade, have grown their small start-up catering firm to a multi-million-dollar company, with over 300 employees. As CFO of the company, she oversees financial management. Ingrid’s fiscal, strategic and management skills balance the creative genius of her husband and they are celebrating over 25 years together in business.
Cade Nagy
Founder & Chef
Cade brings over 30 years of experience in the catering and event industry, and an additional 15 years as an executive chef in the restaurant industry. Cade is the creative force behind the company. Cade is a two time silver medal winner at the US Chef’s Open. He is an active member of the International Caterers Association (ICA), and serving on the Culinary Counsel for the organization. He has been featured in the food sections of the Rocky Mountain News and The Denver Post.
Syd Sexton
CEO
Syd brings an extensive background in hotel & catering management. She spent 13 years with the Hyatt Corporation as Director of Catering. She eventually opened her own Denver catering company for 15 years. She sold to business partners & returned to the hotel industry & joined The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. Syd’s wealth of business acumen along with her people management expertise made her the perfect fit to guide the team at Catering By Design.

Director of New Business
Ching brings over 10 years of experience in the catering and events industry. She joined the Catering by Design team in 2015 and has a passion for putting on a themed event. With a client base that spans the spectrum from social, to non profit and corporate, she’s always looking for the next hottest trend to help bring the event to life.
Amara Krueger
Senior Event Designer
Amara Krueger has always been passionate about the events and hospitality industry. Her experience in social media, sales and marketing plus her education including in sommelier beverage courses led her to a renowned catering company in Chicago. With a leap of faith and love for a sunny weather life, she left Chicago to live in Denver. We at CBD welcomed Amara, knowing her positivity, creativity, chic design style and never-ending energy would suit our clientele perfectly.
