Kim Livesey, Event Director, and Francesco Oggiano, Executive Chef, co-founded Calla Catering and Events LLC, which has just rebranded. Kim and Francesco first met in 2014 at an event where Kim (at the time, a New England destination wedding planner) engaged Deja Blu Catering to cater one of her clients' events. Francesco served as the event's lead chef for Deja Blue. Francesco told the owner of Deja Blu Catering that the wedding planner he worked with on site was fantastic and helped with a smooth event implementation. (He had reservations about wedding planners)! Deja Blu Catering's owner was searching for a partner to train on how to operate her day-to-day operations, assist with client communication, create proposals, and offer an in-house day-of coordination planning package option for stress-free events when she came across this opportunity.
During the summer of 2017, the owner of Deja Blu Catering became ill and was unable to continue with her business. Francesco and Kim
