Some fun facts: - In 2016, I relocated from Chicago to Alaska and traded the lights of the large cities for the northern lights, falling head over heels for the 49th state. - Every time I see a moose, which is virtually every day, I still geek out. Living in Alaska means being in an almost continual state of connectedness with nature, which is one of the things I enjoy most about it, as a buddy once put it. - My partner Tom works as an ER nurse. He also has Type 1 diabetes, which significantly affects our daily lives. - We have a little boy named Gus - I regularly lead our cat, Flo, outside for walks while using a leash. - I can speak Italian.
